Who We Are
Palmer Rise Community Services is a provincially incorporated, community-based nonprofit organization focused on supporting individuals and families through practical assistance, family support initiatives, educational programs, and community resource connections.
Our organization was created to help families facing financial hardship, life challenges, and barriers to accessing essential support services. We believe every individual deserves compassionate, respectful, and accessible community support that helps strengthen overall well-being and stability.
Palmer Rise Community Services primarily serves Durham Region, including Ajax, Whitby, Pickering, and Oshawa, while also supporting select surrounding communities through partnerships and available resources.

Palmer Rise Community Services is rooted in Durham Region, with a primary focus on supporting individuals and families across Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, Oshawa, and surrounding communities through practical support, educational initiatives, resource navigation, and community care programs.
As a community-focused organization, we are committed to building meaningful partnerships, reducing barriers, and providing accessible support that responds to real community needs.
While our foundation is in Durham Region, support may also be available in select Ontario communities through partnerships, outreach initiatives, and available resources.
As we continue to grow, our goal is to strengthen community well-being, expand access to support services, and create lasting positive impact for the families and communities we serve.

Our Story
Palmer Rise Community Services was created from a deep understanding of the challenges many families face every day.
Many Parents and caregivers are doing everything they can to provide for their families while navigating rising costs, stress, and limited support. Behind closed doors, families are often struggling quietly while still showing up for their children.
Palmer Rise was built to bridge the gap by providing real, practical support to families who need it most.
Our goal is to ensure families feel supported, connected ad not alone as they work toward stability.
